This is a 1950s/60s era classic mom and pop motel (my favorite kind) that has been very well maintained over the years.

We were very pleased with the motel and the rates were reasonable. I really like this little town - it's like a trip back in time to a simpler era of yesteryear. My wife and I stayed here for two nights in late December 2020 while visiting Coleman over the Christmas holiday. It's located on the very northern edge of town at the highway split for US 84, TX 206 and US 283. The Budget Inn is an excellent place to stay and my first choice of accommodations in Coleman, Texas.
